Whats included in each class?
- SLOW FLOW: This class is an intentionally slower pace class, helping both the beginner students and the advanced students to have a better understanding of yoga, this class will help you to feel relaxed and rejuvenate to feel extra good.
- VINYASA: This style of Yoga is characterized for linking the movement of the body and the breath in a flowing sequence, this is a dynamic high energy style that builds the heat, develops strength and mobility.
- HATHA YOGA: Hatha yoga is a classical form of yoga, is a practice that develops and refines and unites all aspects of the being: the body, mind, emotions, intuition in preparation for the meditation.
- YIN YOGA: Yin Yoga is a slow paced style of yoga in which poses are held for 3-5 minutes on each side. Instead of focusing on building strength, Yin focuses on flexibility and the relaxation of the mind and nervous system.
- YOGA CHURCH: This is a 90 min extensive practice that focuses on a lot of the traditional aspects of yoga, putting emphasis on Bhakti yoga (devotional practice) includes the chanting of mantras, vinyasa-asana, breath, restorative poses and a well deserved long savasana. A lot of the focus on this class is also to build community as this is a very popular class that unites local and travellers yogis.
- ADVANCED PRACTICE:A playful dynamic Vinyasa class offers the opportunity to explore intermediate and advanced variations in a supportive environment. Expect creative sequencing, strength-building, balance, and playful opportunities to deepen your practice while honoring your own pace.
- RESTORATIVE TRIP: The Friday Night Trip An evening of restoration and relaxation. Explore the heart-mind and let go of negative thoughts as we guide our way through the chakras using asana, pranayama and mantra.
- COMMUNITY FLOW: A twice-a-month vinyasa class led by alumni of our Yoga Teacher Trainings and local Sayulita teachers. A space to practice together, discover new voices, and celebrate community.
