Laughology is an internationally acclaimed documentary film (60 minutes) that takes us around the world exploring why we humans laugh. It offers an overview of the contemporary laughter yoga movement, the science and history of laughter and the proven medical benefits for practicing extended laughter. Produced by, and starring, the famous Canadian journalist, Albert Neurenberg, who travels all over the globe seeking to reclaim his laugh after losing it due to stress and grief, this is fun film romp to Africa, US, Canada, India, the UK and Japan, that will surely leave you smiling.
We are excited to announce that Carmela Carlyle, Certified Laughter Yoga Teacher and Certified Yoga Therapist, will be leading a Laughter Yoga Happy Hour the first Thursday of every month beginning in November.
This class is Carmela’s creatively joyful Happy Hour cocktail of Hasya (Laughter) and Hatha Yoga providing you with a healthy blend for oxygenating every cell in your body, releasing a cascade of mood-enhancing endorphins, amping up your cardiac system and reducing muscle tension. Practice breathwork and gentle yoga poses to release your jaws, neck, shoulders, hips and spine.
